When a child born abroad is entered in a Chinese household register, many police stations also ask for a Chinese translation of the child's and the parents' foreign passports, submitted together with the birth certificate translation. We translate the passport data page to match the original layout and stamp it with our bilingual translation seal.

Police stations and exit-entry bureaus in Beijing, Shenzhen and many other cities, many consulates, USCIS and UKVI routinely accept our stamped translations. Some authorities only take certain translations: some districts of Shanghai (Xuhui is one we know of) require a translation from a Shanghai-based agency, and the Guangzhou exit-entry bureau requires notarised translations. Rules vary and change — confirm with your authority before ordering.

For foreign→Chinese documents containing Chinese names, send us the names. For certified foreign degrees, send the Chinese major name. Always give an accurate email.
