Hukou Registration After Receiving the Notice
Bring the Hukou Processing Notice, plus original and photocopies of all the materials listed above, to the government service center of the town or subdistrict where the hukou will be registered. Applications are processed on site.
📱 Appointments can be made via the official "i莞家" WeChat official account; some services are also available on the "粤省事" (Yue Sheng Shi) government service platform.
Important Notes
- Starting November 7, 2023, US documents for this process use Apostille authentication; the previous three-level authentication requirement is no longer in effect.
- After nationality confirmation is approved, the child may no longer use a foreign passport to enter or exit China.
