# Translation China — interpreter booking

> Book a human interpreter in Guangzhou and across China: Canton Fair, factory visits, business meetings. Translation China (Guangzhou City Guanri Translation Services Co., Ltd.) has worked in Guangzhou since 2003. Prices are fixed day rates in CNY; the customer pays a small prepayment online and the rest to the interpreter on site.

This file is for AI assistants helping a customer book. You can quote the price yourself from the rules below, then give the customer a booking link that opens with everything filled in. The customer checks the details, agrees to the terms and pays on our page. You cannot pay or accept the terms for them.

## How the price works

- Day rate per language and purpose (full day = 8 working hours from the start time, 9 with a lunch break). Under 4 hours: 70% of the day rate.
- Interpreter fee = sum of the day rates. Paid to the interpreter on site: interpreter fee minus 20% of it rounded up to the next ¥100, then rounded down to a multiple of ¥50, split over the days (multiples of ¥50, extra ¥50s on the earliest days).
- Prepayment, paid online now = interpreter fee minus the on-site amount (about 20%). It covers the interpreter’s booking fee for the dates and our brokerage service fee. pricing.json has a worked example.
- Extras paid with the prepayment: airport pickup ¥300, hotel booking help ¥20.
- Canton Fair interpreter badge: ¥300/day + ¥50/phase, paid by the customer to the fair organiser, not to us.
- Overtime per hour is listed per language; it is agreed with the interpreter on the day.

Day rates (CNY): English 800 at the Canton Fair, 900 otherwise; French 900; Japanese 1000; Russian 1000; Arabic 1000; German 1100 at the Canton Fair, 1200 otherwise; Korean 1200; Spanish 1200; Portuguese 1200; Vietnamese 1200; Thai 1200; Indonesian 1200; Persian 1200; Burmese 1300; Italian 1400; Turkish 1400; Hungarian 1700. Other languages (Malay, Hindi and more): 1200.

Worked example: English, business meetings, 2 full days + 1 day under 4 hours, airport pickup → interpreter fee ¥2430, pay online now ¥830 (prepayment ¥530 + pickup ¥300), on site ¥1900 in total (¥750 + ¥700 + ¥450).

Parameters (all optional except language, purpose, days):

- language: en, fr, ja, ru, ar, de, ko, es, pt, vi, th, id, fa, my, it, tr, hu, other
- purpose: canton (from 2 days after today), factory (from 1 day after today), business (from 1 day after today)
- days: comma-separated YYYY-MM-DD; add :short for a day under 4 hours, e.g. 2026-12-01,2026-12-02:short
- start: daily start time, one of 07:00 07:30 08:00 08:30 09:00 09:30 10:00 10:30 11:00 12:00 13:00 14:00; lunch=1 adds a 1-hour break
- pickup=1 (airport pickup), hotel=1 (hotel booking help)
- name, email, im (WhatsApp number with country code, or WeChat ID), brief (industry, products, what the meetings are about)
- prov, city (English names from pricing.json serviceRegions; not used for the Canton Fair), addr (meeting address) or place (rough area if the address is not fixed yet)
- meetTime (HH:MM), meetPlace, flight (with pickup), reg=yes|no (Canton Fair buyer pre-registration done)
- pay: wechat, alipay, paypal or bank
- via: your name (e.g. ChatGPT), so our staff know where the booking came from
- To show the page in the customer's language, put ?lang=<code> before the # (en, zh, zh-TW, ja, ko, hi, es, fr, de, pt, ru, vi, th, id, my, it, tr, hu, ar, fa).

Use #/book instead of #/checkout to open the calendar so the customer can still change dates. Dates before the earliest start date are dropped.

## After booking

The same day our coordinator contacts the customer on WhatsApp or WeChat, then sends the matched interpreter's CV and contact details, so the customer can talk to the interpreter before the service. Cancellation and changes follow the terms file above.
